COUNTRY PRESENTATION

Tunisia covers 163,610 km², which makes it the smallest country in the Maghreb. But it has a relatively contrasted relief according to the regions and an important maritime coast, which counts more than 1 200 kilometers, mainly directed towards the east.

Along the north and east coasts, many of the most wild and splendid beaches and exclusive spots in North Africa can be found in Tunisia. Flavors of Tunisia : Olive oil, fresh or grilled vegetables, fish and seafood accompanied by cereals, spices and herbs ... Tunisian cuisine is primarily a typically Mediterranean cuisine, light and tasty. The oldest and most famous Berber dish, couscous, is no exception to this rule: whether it is fish or lamb, it is always served with many vegetables. For the amateurs, the Tunisian dishes are accompanied by excellent wines from the Tunisian cellars. As an appetizer, it will be presented with an assortment of appetizers ranging from seafood to almonds and pistachios, and beans to "torchi" (thin slices of turnip with harissa).
